New McDonald’s Restaurant opening at Boorooma.

FarmLink were represented at the recent opening of the new McDonald’s Restaurant at Boorooma.

Temora grain grower and FarmLink member Ed Gebhardt, along with FarmLink’s Principal Research & Extension Manager Mark Skewes, attended the event at the invitation of ARYZTA Australia & New Zealand.

ARYZTA supply all McDonald’s Australia’s burger buns and muffins, using flour produced by Allied Pinnacle, and mostly sourced from right here in the Riverina.

The store opening was an opportunity to celebrate local primary production, with wheat, beef, chicken and pickles used in McDonald’s products all being produced in the region.
