Resilient Pastures Field Day – FarmLink June 24

The FarmLink Pasture Management Field Walk at TAIC in June 2024 featured 54 plots of perennial pasture varieties, including sub-clover, balansa, medic, lucerne, tall fescue and phalaris, as well as several mixes. NSWDPI Senior Research Scientist Dr Richard Hayes and DLF Seeds Product Development Manager Frank McRae took attendees through the plots.

Green Ammonia Trial 2024

And it's away, our second year of ammonia trials are in the ground. We are partnering with Clean Green Ag using ammonia gas as a nitrogen fertiliser alternative to gauge the potential of green ammonia. So far, the results show high rates of ammonia can be applied safely and there is potential for green ammonia to reduce nitrogen fertiliser derived GHG emissions and still maintain high farm productivity. Watch the video below and see the paddock-scale trial results here https://farmlink.com.au/decarbonised-farming-ammonia
