The Business of Carbon Forum - Cut through carbon noise with real-world experience

Carbon or biodiversity projects are fast becoming the way to pay for on-farm environmental improvements.

This FREE workshop is a chance to learn more about the options for carbon farming projects, how to participate and work out if it's right for your farm business.

The event has been designed for farm business owners, accountants, farm management consultants, agronomic advisors, banking professionals and anyone with an interest in carbon and natural capital on-farm.

Come and learn how to calculate an estimate of your on-farm greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions with NSW Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development’s (DPIRD) On-Farm Carbon Advice project team.

The workshop will cover:

  • Why it is important to know your on-farm emissions profile.

  • Identifying sources and sinks of on-farm emissions on your farm.

  • Understanding the process of measuring, calculating and tracking emissions

  • over time.

  • Learning to navigate online GHG accounting framework tools.

  • Opportunities to avoid/reduce on-farm emissions or sequester carbon.

Please bring:

  • Farm management data.

  • A laptop computer.
