New FarmLink Board appointments – a wealth of experience
James Brady
James Brady has recently been appointed as one of two new Directors, and he brings a wealth of experience to the FarmLink Boardroom. James has been involved in agriculture for more than 30 years. He was raised on a grazing property south of Cooma (merino sheep and angus) and studied Agriculture at Charles Sturt University, after which he went to work as an agronomist, including research agronomy and commercial trial work.
James farms 1500ha at Eurongilly, with 6000 composite ewes and 800ha of dual-purpose cropping. He has a keen interest in financial benchmarking and livestock production boundaries and keeps an eye on the latest research results in both livestock and cropping.
James is married to Bianca and the couple has four children – Sophia 14, Oscar 12, Jemima 9 and Archer 7.
Frank McRae
FarmLink is pleased to welcome Frank McRae to our Board of Directors. Frank has spent his entire career in agricultural industries and rural communities in NSW, both in farming and business management and in R&D. He has been involved in family mixed farming operations in Southern NSW and is a partner in two beef grazing operations on the Central Tablelands of NSW.
Frank brings to FarmLink 40 years’ of experience in research and development, from consulting with plant breeders, conducting research and taking products to market. He has worked as a technical specialist in cereals with Industry & Investment NSW, working in conjunction with breeding programs, and conducting trials, including National Variety Trials for cereals, pulses, and oilseeds.
He currently works as a Product Development Manager for a large international seed company includes working with plant breeders, conducting trials and demonstrations, and taking new products to market.
