Season 2017 - what are your options?
As farmers of Southern NSW faced the challenges of 2017, including frost and limited rainfall, FarmLink gathered a range of advisors in late September/early October to talk about options for the remainder of the season. Gatherings were well attended at Barellan, Ariah Park and Temora, with additional sessions to be held if there is interest in other districts.
A range of technical notes were made available at the sessions, which can be downloaded below as an additional resource.
Thanks were extended to those who made their time available for the sessions, including Simon McRae (farmer/hay contractor), Matt Hallam (Livestock Production Specialist, Landmark), Terry Edis (Agronomist, Elders), Dave Elwin (Agronomist, Yenda Producers), John Harper (Mate Helping Mate), Andrew Lockley (Research Agronomist, Landmark) and Dave Bushell (Agronomist, DeltaAg).
